What is Phishing?

Phishing is a type of deception designed to steal your identity.  In phishing scams, scam artists try to get you to disclose valuable personal data – like username and passwords, by convincing you to provide it under false pretenses. Phishing uses e-mail messages that seem to come from legitimate businesses that one might have dealings with.   These messages look authentic, usually with corporate logos and formats to ones that can be used for legitimate purposes.

Never respond to an email that requests your username or password.  CityWest would never request such information by email.
