CityWest completes purchase of new office in Kitimat, BC.

CityWest announced today the purchase of a building in Kitimat at 172-174 5th Street. The location will serve as the base of operations for it’s new services coming soon to Kitimat.
The company took possession officially on Dec 18th and is ready to make the necessary renovations in order to prepare the building to house it’s central office systems. “CityWest’s new fibre-link connecting Terrace and Kitimat will carry next generation telecom and entertainment services into this building in Kitimat. At this location we are installing new central systems that will power the services and provide them to local business and residents using our newly laid, fibre/coaxial distribution network in Kitimat.” explained Rob Brown, CEO for CityWest. “The Kitimat project is a complete modernization of infrastructure and technology and will result in a number of new services that will benefit our customers in Kitimat,” said Brown.
Some of the services mentioned to date include: a new-and-improved Internet service, Digital Cable TV including access to High definition channels, and home and business telephone service through CityWest.
