School District 52 and CityWest Announce New Private Gigabit Network for School District
SCHOOL DISTRICT 52 AND CITYWEST ANNOUNCE NEW PRIVATE GIGABIT NETWORK FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT
September 14, 2010. Prince Rupert, BC. CityWest Cable and Telephone Corp. and School District 52 today announced the activation of a private gigabit network that CityWest built for School District 52. The network, will serve as a pilot project for other organizations for a service that CityWest is calling its Northwest Gigabit Network.

The Northwest Gigabit Network as well as Citywest’s other networks are the key to enabling us to deliver leading edge technology at lowest cost while providing teachers timely and efficient support both in the classroom, and at home.”
