3. Choose Options, and then scroll to Erase and confirm your decision.

Create a Group
A Group provides a quick way for you to make a "one-to-many" call to all other members of a Group. Each Group may contain between 2 and 6 members, including you.

1. Press the 10-4 button and then press the Go To button (left soft key)
2. Scroll down and select Menu/OK on Personal Group (GRP).

Make a Group Call
To make a Group Call, you must first "establish" your Group Lists.
Group Calls work very much like one-on-one calls. Instead of selecting an individual contact from the Contact List, you select the Group Name. A Group Call is limited to you and 5 contacts, for a total of 6 people on the call.
1. Press the 10-4 button (left soft key on the keypad) or the 10-4 button on the side of the phone.
2. Scroll to the desired Group.
3. Press and hold the 10-4 button on the side of the phone to initiate the call.
4. Start talking after you hear the 10-4 tone.

Use the Microphone and Loudspeaker
Microphone
The microphone is located at the bottom of the phone and is very sensitive. It's best to keep the microphone 10-12 inches away from your mouth. If you're too close to the microphone, your voice will be garbled.
Loudspeaker
10-4 has a loudspeaker setting. By default, the loudspeaker is "on," broadcasting your incoming 10-4 calls.
When you set your phone to vibrate or turn the ringer off, the incoming call tone will be silenced and any voice communication will be broadcast through the earpiece. You can also hit the SPEAKER button on an incoming 10-4 call for the same effect.
To turn the loudspeaker off:
1. Go to Options from the 10-4 menu (right soft key).
2. Go to Settings and select Loudspeaker.
3. Scroll to Off and press Menu/OK.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How many entries can be sent and/or stored on my 10-4 phone?
Answer: Up to 200 business and 200 personal entries can be stored on your 10-4 phone.

Question: What happens if I'm on a 10-4 call and someone tries to reach me with a regular phone call?
Answer: If you're on a 10-4 call, incoming voice calls will not ring through. The caller will go directly to your voicemail if you subscribe to this service.

Question: Can I silence the speakerphone?
Answer: Yes. By default, when you receive an incoming 10-4 call, the caller's voice will be broadcast over the speakerphone. 1. Go to Options from the 10-4 menu (right soft key).
2. Go to Settings and select Loudspeaker.
3. Scroll to Off and press Menu/OK

Question: What happens if I miss a 10-4 call?
Answer: If you miss a 10-4 call, you'll receive a Missed Call Notification that will lead you to the Missed Call Log where you can see who called and when. From the Missed Call Log, you can easily return the call by pressing the 10-4 button.

Question: What happens if I'm using my phone and someone 10-4s me?
Answer: If you're on a regular voice call or using the Mobile Browser, incoming 10-4 calls will not ring through.
