PRINCE RUPERT – CityWest has sold its analog cable TV system in Stewart, B.C. to Sienna Networks, a wireless communications service provider based in Terrace.
With the deal, Sienna Networks will take over all of CityWest’s current TV subscribers in Stewart on November 1, 2017.
“We have been looking for the right buyer for a while, and we’re happy that we’ve found a company that prides itself on being a part of the North, as well as valuing customer service to a high degree,” said Chris Marett, CEO of CityWest.
Sienna will also be offering wireless Internet and VoIP phone services, which will be bundled up with TV, says Rob Chapman, Founder & Operations Manager of the company. “This acquisition allows us to provide customers in Stewart with great services,” he said. “From start to finish, CityWest has been a great company to deal with, and we’re looking to continue their tradition of customer-service excellence.”
Sienna also employs a technician in Stewart, who will maintain the cable plant and offer local service and support. “We’re happy to be part of the community of Stewart,” said Chapman. “People like that we can respond right away, and they also like that we can be their one-stop-shop for their Internet, phone, and television needs.”
Current CityWest customers will automatically be transferred to Sienna as of November 1. And they can also contact Sienna directly at 1-844-320-6565.
