KITIMAT, TERRACE, PRINCE RUPERT - Once again, CityWest Community Television will be at the forefront of political discourse, as it broadcasts the upcoming municipal election debates in Kitimat, Prince Rupert, and Terrace over the next few weeks.
The debates, which will feature discussions on local issues from the candidates in this year’s election, will be broadcast on CityWest TV channels 310 (HD) and 10 (SD). They will also be live-streamed on Facebook.
“We’ve broadcast election debates for a number of years because we feel they’re important to the democratic process of the communities we serve,” said Devin Wall, Community Channel Manager. “They have also been very popular with our customers, and we’ve noticed very strong viewership numbers in past debates.”
