At approximately 6:40 pm last night, all services were reported down in Kitimat. Further investigation found that it was the result of a landslide that cut our fibre line 16 kilometers south of Terrace along a rail bed.
Customers in Kitimat should now see their Internet and phone services restored. We would like to thank all the companies who worked alongside CityWest techs in the wind and rain to come up with a solution to help our customers.
Digital TV services have been restored as of 2 pm on November 27th. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please unplug your device, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in.
