Today, 205 households are connected to CityWest's fibre network, with 1,024 homes eligible for service as construction continues across the island. Over the coming months, residents can expect to see crews working in additional neighbourhoods as CityWest advances its commitment to bringing reliable, high-speed internet access to the community.
As construction advances through Whaletown, Manson's Landing and the Klahoose area, more households are gaining access to the reliable, high-speed connectivity that has become essential for modern life on the island.
The expansion also benefits approximately 40 businesses operating within the community, helping support local economic activity and creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs, home-based businesses.
