Set up your TV Everywhere account
Follow the instructions below to setup your TV Everywhere account. TV Everywhere is included with your CityWest TV package. An Internet or mobile connection is required to watch TV Everywhere.
Step 1: Set up your account
Before you can get access to content, you’ll need to set up your account.
To do this, go to www.wtve.ca, and you’ll see this screen:
Click on the drop-down box next to “select your TV provider” and select “CityWest”
Now select “register” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Notice that the “CityWest” logo will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
This will bring you to the registration page. We recommend you have a copy of your current statement nearby when filling out this online form.
Let’s take it from the top:
Account number: Enter your 9-digit account number that is found at the top right-hand corner of your monthly bill.
Last name on statement: Be sure you enter exactly what appears as your name on your bill as your last name.
Verification code: Simply enter the 5-digit number at the right of this field. This is to ensure you’re a human, not an online robot.
New user information: You can enter whatever information you’d like in these fields. Write down your password and keep it in a safe place. You will need a valid email address – you’ll see why in step 2.
Now, click register. You’ll be brought to another screen, which is required for legal purposes. Click “Create Account.”
Next, you’ll need to activate your account.
Step 2: Email activation
Open up your email account. You should notice an email from “watchTVeverywhere” with the subject line “Activation link.” Click on that link.
You will then be brought to another web page that says, “Your account is now activated.”
Congratulations! You now have a TV Everywhere account. Now, let’s access some of that content.
Step 3: Sign in
Click on the “log in” link at the top of the Watch TV Everywhere screen.
You’ll be brought to the main login page. Enter your email and password that you used to create your account (from Step 1). Hit “enter” or click “login.”
If successful, you should see a screen with some network logos. The networks you have access to will depend on the subscriptions you have in your TV package. For example, if you subscribe to all channels, you will see this screen:
Click on any of the logos to access content on your device. Depending on the network, you may be asked to sign in again.
PLEASE NOTE that it takes a while to access content on Global Go. You should be able to unlock content within 24 hours of signing up to TV Everywhere.
Step 4: Download the app (optional)
You can watch great programming without using your web browser by downloading the app for each network on your device. Log in using the same e-mail and password.
