We build in stages. If your address isn't available yet, you can register your interest and we'll notify you when service becomes available.

Before Fibre reaches a home, there's a lot of planning that happens behind the scenes. Interest forms help us understand where demand is coming from, so we can better plan our work, allocate resources and identify which areas should be prioritized as the network expands.

By submitting your address, you're helping us build a clearer picture of where connectivity is most needed in your community.

Once we receive your form, our team can also confirm your address, share available plans and pricing, answer your questions, and explain what the path to getting connected looks like.

Submitting an interest form does not commit you to signing up for service.

1. We'll review your property to confirm service availability and where it falls within the Fibre build.
2. A member of our team will reach out to walk you through available Internet plans, pricing and any installation details specific to your property.

Fibre is built in stages. First, a transport Fibre line brings the main connection into the community. From there, smaller Fibre lines are built out through neighborhood's and local roads to bring the network closer to individual properties.

The final stage is called Fibre to the Home (FTTH). This is where a Fibre line is extended from the local network directly to your property and into your home.

Once the Fibre reaches your home, a technician installs the equipment needed to connect you to the network and get your internet service up and running.

This means your connection uses fibre all the way from the broader network directly to your home.

While construction is underway in your community, our teams will canvas the area to arrange drop permissions, and you can also sign up online. You do not need to commit to CityWest service to receive a free drop.

If you don't arrange a drop while construction is underway, there may be a cost to install one after the project is complete.

No. Having CityWest fibre infrastructure in your community does not mean you have to switch providers. The choice is yours.

We also know changing Internet providers can feel like a hassle, especially if you’re already under contract. Our team can walk you through the process, answer your questions, help coordinate the transition and, where eligible, help with the cost of buying out your existing contract.

If you have a complex drop (lengthy distance from road to home, challenging access, etc.), please advise our team. 

In the rare case that there will be any charges for your drop, you will be contacted beforehand by CityWest or its contractors to discuss.
